Stuart Orme

2016 Samling Artist Programme graduate, Stuart is currently studying for his MMus at the RNCM. His performances on stage include Guglielmo in Così fan tutte at the RNCM. Figaro in The Marriage of Figaro, Schaunard in La bohème and Dottore in La traviata with Heritage Opera, Sciarrone in Tosca with Mananan Opera, and Aeneas in Dido and Aeneas with Eboracum Baroque. He has also been a chorus member in Verdi’s Aida with Opera Holland Park.

On the concert platform, Stuart has performed as a soloist in Durufle’s Requiem with Manchester Chamber Choir at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, he has performed Handel’s Messiah and Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle with Todmorden Choral Society, Fauré’s Requiem with Marple Choral Society, Haydn’s Mass in time of war with Gainsborough Choral Society, Mozart’s Requiem with Wolverhampton Chamber Choir and Southwell Choral Society, and Bach’s Christmas Oratorio with Kendal Choral Society.

Stuart sang with the Manchester Cathedral Choir for three years, and is a BBC Radio 4 Daily Service singer. After having lived in Manchester for eight years, Stuart has moved to London to continue his work as an opera singer.
