The Box Office is open from 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday before the Festival. During the Festival, it is open from 10am to 8pm Monday to Saturday and from 12 noon to 8pm on Sunday. For other venues, tickets can also be bought at the door half an hour before each event, if not sold out.

*Priority booking (postal) is available to Festival Patrons and members of the Friends of Buxton Festival. With many events selling quickly, why not join now (£18 individual, £28 joint membership) to take advantage of this facility and be sure of your preferred tickets? For more information call 01298 70395.

How to pay

Please pay by cheque if at all possible as we pay commission on all credit card transactions. In 2005, we paid over £7,000 in credit card commission charges! Please make cheques payable to High Peak Theatre Trust Ltd. and leave the amount blank or insert the wording “up to a maximum of £…....” and state an upper limit which will allow for an alternative seating area (this helps the Box Office staff give you any discounts etc.). You can also pay by MasterCard, VISA or in cash at the Box Office.

Special offers
Only one offer per ticket. All offers are subject to availability.

Groups of ten or more receive a 10% discount for all performances except Saturday operas.

See four or more operas and save!

Book tickets for four operas and deduct £3 from the cost of each ticket (excludes gallery and Side seats in the Upper Circle)

Opera House Standby Students, under-18s, the unwaged and senior citizens may purchase any available seat for a performance at half price from 6.45pm on the day of performance (excludes Saturday operas). Personal callers at the Box Office only.

Children (under 16) go half price to all performances.

We regret that tickets can neither be exchanged nor money refunded. Box Office staff will endeavour to re-sell tickets, subject to demand. A 10% administration fee will be charged.

The Festival reserves the right to make alterations to the programme, although it is correct at the time of going to press. In accordance with standard theatre policy, latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.
