Buxton train station is five minutes' walk from the Opera House and the centre of town. There are regular inter-city trains from Euston to Macclesfield, Stockport and Manchester with connecting services to Buxton (journey time approx. three hours). The last train from Buxton to Manchester leaves at 10.56pm.
