The Friends of Buxton Festival was founded in 1980 to provide support
for the Buxton Festival through subscriptions, donations and
fund-raising events as well as much welcomed practical assistance. There
are currently over 2,200 members most of whom visit the Festival each
year. Since its inception, the Friends of Buxton Festival have raised
£600,000 for the Festival. Nearly half this income comes from
subscriptions, so even if you are unable to participate in any other
way, joining the Friends' really does help
