Helen Bailey

Middlesbrough-born soprano, Helen Bailey, is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music Opera Course, Trinity College of Music, and Liverpool John Moores University. She enjoys a busy schedule of opera, oratorio, and recital engagements. Operatic roles include Pamina The Magic Flute (Ryedale Festival Opera), Gianetta The Elixir of Love (Blackheath Halls Opera), Anne Truelove The Rake’s Progress (Trinity College of Music), Rosina La Vera costanza (Royal Academy Opera), Micaela Carmen (Meantime Opera) and Giovanna (cover) Giovanna d’Arco (Buxton Festival). She has also sung for British Youth Opera, Operagold, Pop-up Opera, and Bath Festival Opera. Helen appears regularly as a soloist with Botley Choral Society, Ember Choral Society, Bromley Oecumenical Singers, and Sutton Valence Choral Society. Recent concert highlights include Jenkins The Armed Man with the Voices for Hospices choir at Kempton Park racecourse, Mozart Requiem at Romsey Abbey, and a series of recitals celebrating Shakespeare in song.
