OPERA HOUSE SEATING PLAN

Seating in Buxton Opera House is arranged on 3 levels. The Stalls are at ground floor level. The Dress Circle is the first balcony immediately above this. The Upper Circle is the second and highest balcony area. The Gallery is a raised area to the rear of the Upper Circle. The Theatre Boxes are situated at the sides of the Dress Circle and Upper Circle.

Please note - upper circle side seats and boxes may have a restricted view.

Only one offer per ticket. All offers are subject to availability.

See four or more operas and save! 
Book tickets for four operas and deduct £3 from the cost of each ticket (excludes Gallery and side seats in the Upper Circle). Not valid for chamber and community operas at Pavilion Arts Centre. (Not available online - please call 0845 127 2190)

Groups

Groups of ten or more receive a 10% discount for all performances except Saturday evenings. (Not available online - please call 0845 127 2190)

Opera House Standby 
Students, under-18s, the unwaged and senior citizens may purchase any available seat for a performance at half price from 6.45pm on the day of performance (excludes Saturday operas). Personal callers at the box office only.

YOUNG PEOPLE'S TICKETS

Under30s ticketsUnder-30s tickets just £5

From the beginning of June the best available seats at any Festival event will go on sale to under-30s for £5. We are keen to encourage younger people to experience the widest range of arts on offer without breaking the bank.

Groups, including schools, are welcome to take advantage of these tickets.

Tickets must be booked by phone or at the Opera House and proof of age must be presented on collection.

This offer excludes the Festival lunch.

VENUE DETAILS

The Opera House

Located on Water Street, central Buxton. Has three bars, plus
one set up outside in good weather. Access for disabled people is
to the front left of the building. Parking nearby, opposite the Old
Hall Hotel, is pay and display. Off-street parking is also

The Pavilion Arts Centre

This newly built venue has its own entrance on St John's Road.
The Main Room has its own, brand-new, spacious bar. Parking
is pay and display and is free after 6pm in the car park at the
rear of Pavilion Gardens (N.B. the covered area of the car park
closes at 6pm), a short walk from the venue. Off-street parking
is also available nearby

Pavilion Arts

The Palace Hotel

Located on Palace Road two minutes' walk from the Opera House.
The Palace has a restaurant as well as a lounge bar area
serving drinks. Access for disabled people is either to the left of
the main doors or at the left side of the building into the bar
area. Parking is pay and display. Contact: 01298 22001

The Devonshire Dome


Located on Devonshire Road five minutes' walk from the Opera
House. The Dome has a restaurant and bistro, but check to see
if opening times correspond with Festival events. Access for
disabled people is through the main entrance. The Dome has
limited parking.

Lee Wood Hotel


Located on The Park, ten minutes [uphill!] from the Opera House.
The Lee Wood Hotel has a lounge bar and restaurant.
Access for disabled people is at the back of the hotel.
