Buxton Festival Train Naming Ceremony
As part of a major sponsorship agreement between First North Western Trains and the Festival, a train has been named after the Festival. The train was named during a ceremony on 5 June at Buxton train station. Leading the proceedings was comic legend and star of Sorry I Haven’t A Clue, Barry Cryer and Roy Hattersley, the Festival Chairman. They were accompanied by Richard Peck, Managing Director First North Western Trains.
